Principle

Natural rent and common benefit

Our proposal is that residual rent tied to natural resources no one created requires a justification for who appropriates it and how it is used.

The proposal

Once legitimate human contributions have been separated, the share of rent attributable to natural endowments not produced by human activity requires justification for its appropriation and allocation.

How to read it

Sources identify relevant rights, methods, findings or precedents. They do not automatically establish the full World4Humans formulation. Where the project makes its own choice, that choice remains open to criticism and revision.
